Centrul de Medicină Legală a început prestarea serviciilor de expertiză judiciară genetică

Laboratorul de Medicină Legală a început să ofere servicii de expertiză judiciară genetică, fiind primul centru care va asigura expertiza genetică în Republica Moldova. Scopul investigațiilor molecular-genetice constau în cercetarea țesuturilor și lichidelor biologice pentru identificarea profilului genetic şi/sau comparării acestuia.

 

Laboratorul va soluționa probleme legate de identificarea suspecților, descoperirea crimelor sau a delictelor, cercetarea paternității, identificarea victimelor catastrofelor, având un grad înalt de concludență și o certitudine de până la 99,99%. Avantajul acetui tip de investigații constă în identificarea genomului uman (ADN) în cantități minime de material biologic divers, cum ar fi: țesuturi, inclusiv oase și dinți, urme lăsate pe obiecte prin contactul mâinilor sau altor părți ale corpului, fire de păr, urme de sânge, salivă, spermă și alte secreții biologice.

 

Laboratorul a fost fondat cu suportul Guvernului Republicii Moldova, Ministerului Sănătății, Muncii și Protecției Sociale și a Centrului de Medicină Legală.
