Lansarea procesului de nominalizare a candidaților pentru decernarea Premiului „Raoul Wallenberg” al Consiliului Europei

Ministerul Sănătății, Muncii și Protecției Sociale aduce la cunoștință persoanelor/instituțiilor/organizațiilor interesate apelul public al Secretarului General al Consiliului Europei, dl Thorbjorn Jagland, privind inițierea procesului de nominalizare a candidaților pentru acordarea premiului „Raoul Wallenberg” al Consiliului Europei – susținut în comun de Guvernul Suediei, Parlamentul Ungariei și Consiliul Europei.

 

Premiul se decernează, o dată la doi ani, începând cu anul 2012, unei persoane, grup de persoane sau organizații în semn de recunoștință pentru implicarea activă în acțiuni cu scop umanitar și/sau promovarea și apărarea drepturilor omului.

 

Conform prevederilor Regulamentului pentru acordarea Premiului, nominalizările pot fi efectuate prin completarea Formularului-tip și expedierea acestuia la adresa electronică: wallenberg.prize@coe.int, până la data de 31 octombrie 2019.

 

Menționăm că, nominalizările trebuie susținute de cel puțin 5 persoane/organizații/instituții și să includă motivele, însoțite de argumentele de rigoare, în baza cărora se consideră că persoana/grupul/organizația înaintată a adus o contribuție deosebită unei cauze umanitare (de exemplu, acțiunile întreprinse au contribuit la: schimbarea reală a situației grupului țintă; descoperirea încălcărilor sistemice ale drepturilor omului pe scară largă; mobilizarea opiniei publice/comunității internaționale cu privire la o problemă ce ține de respectarea drepturilor omului).
