Ziua Internațională de luptă împotriva consumului și traficului ilicit de droguri - „Ascultă primul”

Ziua Internaţională de Luptă împotriva consumului și traficului ilicit de droguri este marcată astăzi în întreaga lume pentru a crește gradul de conştientizare privind problema majoră pe care o reprezintă drogurile pentru societate.

 

Tema evenimentului pentru anul curent „Ascultă primul” are drept scop conștientizarea efectelor negative și prevenirea consumului de droguri - investiție efectivă în bunăstarea copiilor și tinerilor, a familiilor și comunităților.

 

Conform statisticilor se estimează că peste 92 de milioane de persoane cu vârsta de 15-64 de ani din Uniunea Europeană au încercat droguri într-un moment al vieții, mai frecvent printre bărbați (56,0 mil) față de femei (36,3 mil) și mor în fiecare an între 10.000 și 20.000 de consumatori de droguri.

 

În Republica Moldova, în ultimii ani situația prin narcomanie se agravează. Comparativ cu anul 2016, în anul 2017, a sporit incidența de la 17,0 până la 25,1 cazuri la 100 mii populație și prevalența - de la 317 până la 328,3 cazuri la 100 mii populație.

 

De asemenea, consumul de droguri reprezintă un factor ce contribuie la agravarea stării de sănătate și infectarea cu diferite boli transmisibile, precum HIV, hepatită și tuberculoză, dereglări psihologice și emoționale, în special la tineri. Conform Raportului global pentru 2017, s-a constatat tangența consumului de droguri cu criminalitatea și terorismul, percepute drept o obstrucție îngrijorătoare pentru realizarea agendei pentru dezvoltare durabilă către 2030, în special a obiectivului 3 privind sănătatea și a obiectivului 16 privind societățile pașnice.

 

În Republica Moldova, în scopul reducerii consumul tuturor tipurilor de droguri și/sau diminuării riscului potențial și daunele care pot apărea în viața cetățenilor și a societății, actualmente este în curs de implementare Strategia națională antidrog pe anii 2011-2018.

 

Totodată, în această perioadă, în toată țara sunt desfășurate activități de informare și comunicare privind prevenirea consumul de droguri și măsurile de prevenire: discuții publice, seminare, ședințe informative în cadrul Centrelor prietenoase tinerilor, instituțiilor medicale primare, mese rotunde în comunități și activități de informare și educare în taberele de odihnă, etc.
